Hello Social Club Members

 

Lake Lure is BACK!!  We hope you all had a fantastic Memorial Day weekend (even with the rain)!  It is so great to see the town buzzing with activity and hear the laughter from the boaters as they begin to circle the lake again!  

 

The Social Club continues to grow with 150 active members YTD.  We are so happy to see everyone at our growing number of events and activities and appreciate the members stepping up to lead our newest initiatives: Birding (Julie Delgado), Water Sports (Joe Kager), Cribbage (Monica Faherty) and cooking/cheesemaking (Diane Conroy).  If you have a passion you’d like to share, please let us know. We’d love to hear your ideas!  

 

June is another busy month, with the biggest event being our annual picnic at Bills Creek Community Center on June 25th. Come join us for live music, games, and some fantastic food!  Sign up now to reserve your spot at lakeluresocial@gmail.com.
