Hello Social Club Members

 

Summer is off to a great start here in Lake Lure!  We had some terrific hikes and lake excursions in June along with our regular game nights and dining out. The highlight for the month was our annual picnic at Bill’s Creek Community Center, where we enjoyed music by Michael Yelton, games, and excellent BBQ and sides along with all the yummy things brought by our members!  Thank you to all for a very enjoyable event!  

 

As we approach July 4th, we have more club activities on the horizon.  Be sure to RSVP for the Mt Mitchell hike on July 14 and The Great Float on July 21 where I hear you may get a glimpse of the rare pink unicorn float!

 

As you may have noticed, we are keeping many of our events “local” this year.  Check out the new Local Business Spotlight tab on the website where this month we are featuring The Village Scoop.  Be sure to sign up for the ice cream social there on Aug 3 as we support our post-Helene businesses.  

 

Lastly, keep in mind we are a members only club. If you haven’t signed up yet just go to the Membership tab to make it official!
